This position is the first step on the ladder within the Student Advisory / Call Centre of one of the most prestigious and well known organisations that provide professional qualifications for people within the financial sector. You will need to have sound customer service experience within a corporate company where you have dealt with telephone and email enquiries. The ability to liaise confidently with people who are making their first career decisions through to highly qualified, managerial personnel is essential. If you show a natural flair to convert enquiries into take-up and sales, you will be able to look forward to being promoted to a Student Advisor and then onwards and upwards in the organisation according to your ability and talents.
An ideal background would be from a contact centre in a university or college, banking or insurance environment where you will have needed to have a thorough knowledge of the organisations' product and services. This contact centre is very strong on excellent customer service and, although you must be business aware and convert enquiries into a firm commitment, and you will be targeted, the quality of the advice and service that you give to your client is of paramount importance.
A sound 'A' level (or equivalent) education and extremely good oral and written English are essential - you will be required to take a rigorous test to confirm your ability to research information and communicate in a grammatical and fluent manner to ensure your representation of the organisation is to the highest standard.
Based in central London, and convenient for most commuters, you will work a shift system between the hours of 8.00am to 8.00pm (five days a week) plus you must work one Saturday per month.
Due to the number of responses we receive to our advertisements we are unable to respond individually to each application. If you do not hear from us within 7 days you may assume you have not been selected this time - but you are welcome to apply for any future vacancy you feel you are suitable for. Thank you for your interest in Acme Appointments.
