Excellent opportunity for a top quality Residential Property Solicitor, min 5 yrs PQE, to join a high profile City of London law firm acting for clients acquiring, disposing and developing properties at the upper end of the London residential property market. Experience in a similar role is essential as is strong client focus and marketing flair. Principal responsibilities. Working on transactions of varying values and complexity but concentrating in particular on the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property often of high value and for private clients who require a tax efficient structure involving off-shore companies and trusts.

- Initiating, building and maintaining effective client relationships
- Pro-active involvement in marketing initiatives
- Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
- Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions
- Training and development of junior legal staff and secretary (where appropriate).


Person specification
The firm has a Career Development Framework which sets out the competencies we expect of those at the associate grade. In particular, for this role we require:

Experience and qualifications
- Excellent academic record
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with top firm training
- Previous experience of advising international clients is desirable
- Previous experience in prime London residential property work gained at a leading firm is essential
