Web Design Developer - CMS / Wordpress - Colchester - upto £45k

This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on market leading, enterprise level software projects. It will allow you to become a member of an expanding development team where you will design, develop and deliver next generation award winning products.

If you are an experienced Website Developer with experience in CMS, building front end code and functionality, and making sure the site is consistence across multiple browsers, their versions, and there is also an opportunity to deliver to variety of mobile devices.

They provide a friendly and flexible working environment with an attractive salary and holiday package including an excellent company bonus. The core hours are between 9am - 5pm and training will be provided on the relevant hardware and software technologies needed to become a competent member of the team. The role will mainly be based out of their Colchester office with other highly technical developers, but remote working can also be a possibility.

To be considered for this role you will have experience in the following:

Essential Skills:
- CMS - Wordpress
- CSS, PHP
- Mark up: HTML 4, HTML 5, XML, XSL, CSS
- Writing JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
- Adobe Flash
- C#.NET, ASP.NET 3.5
- Making Sites multi-browser compatible (IE 6,7,8,9, Chrome, FF, Opera, Safari)
- Visual Studio

Desirable Skills:
- Building Web Parts
- J2ME
- TFS (Team Foundation Server)
- Application and DB security experience
- Mobile Application writing and testing

You will deliver solutions, modifications, support, design and engineering to my clients core business and to they customers. The projects they work on cover social networking, SaaS, Mobile and Web solutions. There SaaS solution is a web based business continuity which interfaces with telecom infrastructures. Clients use the application for alerts, notifications and broadcasts and they work with central governments, major financial companies and emergency services.
