This is a prominent Analyst role, ideal for someone seeking an opportunity with a high profile Retail company, which enjoys analysis of financial data and working with colleagues to interpret results for the commercial benefit of the business. Duties and responsibilities include: reporting for subsidiaries, ensuring accurate processing of sales data and cash flow forecasting; monitoring fees and ensuring all sales are tracked and recorded accurately; manage the period end profit check and then control account reporting process; reporting and analysis of sales and royalty data to external and internal customers; understanding business contracts and identifying any terms are not adhered to; management of a specific project to improve and develop current procedures within the online business; supporting non Accountants to meet their obligations in regards to financial reporting; management of two team members; supporting the Finance Manager on projects and with ad hoc analysis. This role will involve significant liaison with the head office and thus will require occasional travel to London. The idea candidate will be a Finalist, qualified or part-qualified Accountant, with staff supervisory experience, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to look at the wider picture and consider its impact on other areas.
