Depot manager

My client is currently looking for a Depot Manager to join their team at their North London site. Candidates must have extensive experience in HGV / Truck / Bus experience to be considered for this position.

Main responsibilities will be:
* Leading the onsite maintenance function
* Contractor Management
* Ensuring compliance of equipment to statutory, Customer and Group requirements
* Preparation of budget and monitoring of costs throughout the year
* Staff development
* Employee engagement
* Embedding and developing the principles of our cultural change programme Involve
* Project Management
* Through the Workshop Managers, planning and coordinating the activities of the team to maintain the site, vehicles, and equipment
* Liaising with the recognised trade union to promote and develop good relations

Desirable skills for this position are:
* Professional engineering qualification
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong leadership, negotiation and influencing ability
* Technical expertise
* Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in related discipline
* Computer literate


In return my client is offering a salary of 40-45k plus car, bonus, private healthcare and pension contribution.
