Top paying summer job - ideal for students!
The Professional Fundraiser is a door-to-door fundraising agency working on behalf of Cats Protection, the UK's leading feline welfare charity helping more than 230,000 cats and kittens every year; their vision is for a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
Joining one of our fund-raising teams you will work door-to-door local to where you live, and in a sensitive manner engage with members of the public about the Charity's cause, offering the person the opportunity to make a monthly donation to the charity for many years to come.
We offer a starting salary of £6.50 per hour, and with a bonus for every donor you recruit for the Charity above our minimum performance level (6 donors per week) you can realistically expect to achieve earnings of between £300 and £450 per week.
Opportunities to progress to a team leader role are available to top performing fundraisers, and promotion to this position can occur within your first four weeks of employment. Team leaders are commonly responsible for a team of up to five fundraisers, and help to provide quality training as well as organise and support fundraisers when in the field. Further bonuses apply to the team leader role, and allow for on target earnings of £30,000 per annum.
Full time positions are 3pm to 9pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 5pm on Saturdays or Sundays.
We welcome applicants of all ages and from all walks of life. No previous experience is necessary for this type of job role but you should have a mature and responsible approach, excellent communication skills, passion for cats and kittens, and have a resilient nature able to handle rejection from donors not wishing to donate.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or over, and be eligible to work in the UK.
