Science Laboratory Technician
Grade C (Pts 14 - 16) TTO + 2 weeks
(£15,725 - £16,440 pro rata)
Point 14 - (30 hrs - £11,348)
Point 14 - (34 hrs - £12,861)
Required as soon as possible to provide technical support as required by the science faculty and to maintain and advise on appropriate levels of stock, equipment and take a leading role in the organisation and development of the resources in the department. Extra hours are available for a candidate who wishes to extend the role by supporting students in the classroom. Redcar Community College is a Full Service/Extended School and is actively looking for ways to use its facilities and resources for the benefit of the wider community beyond the normal school day. The school also holds the 'Investor in People' Award and is committed to providing staff with all the necessary training to develop their skills and careers.
