Customer Services Centre Assistant / Customer Service Advisor
Louth, Lincolnshire (commutable from Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Horncastle, Brigg and surrounding areas)
Starting £17,639 per annum (increasing to £18,567 per annum after 12 months - subject to review), plus an unsocial hours allowance as necessary
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Assisting in the effective and efficient operation of our clients 24/7 customer services centre, the Customer Service Centre Assistant's main duties will be to receive all calls (including emergency calls) promptly and refer them to the appropriate officer or agency.
The Customer Service Centre Assistant's will be based in Louth, Lincolnshire and will
liaise with Fire, police, Ambulance or other emergency services as necessary. The Customer Service Centre Assistant's will be rewarded with a salary of £17,639 per annum (increasing to £18,567 per annum after 12 months - subject to review), plus an unsocial hours allowance as necessary.
You will also be responsible, whilst working alone, for the smooth operation of the emergency customer services centre during each period of duty. You will monitor calls from group dwellings during the Warden/Scheme Manager's absence, and maintain a record of wardens going 'on' and 'off' site. You will record jobs onto the relevant systems, receive, input and process repairs' reports from tenants by telephone, letter, e-mail or personal call and deal with queries on outstanding repairs.
In addition to the above you will also receive all out-of-hours telephone calls in respect of emergency housing repairs for the group and deal with these as appropriate.
The ideal candidates for this role will have 5 GCSE's (including Maths and English at Grade C or above). Ideally you will have previous experience working within a customer services environment. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a highly organised approach, be results driven and proactive.
Contracted hours are 35 each week, and will be worked on a rota basis, including days/nights, bank holidays and weekends as necessary. The group aim to provide the working rota 4-weeks in advance.
