TEACHER OF PHYSICS JOB AT THE ROCHESTER GRAMMAR SCHOOL, ROCHESTER

Are you a specialist Physics Teacher looking for a Teaching job in the Rochester area?
Hays Education is currently working in partnership with The Rochester Grammar School to recruit a Physics Teacher on a permanent basis starting in September 2012.

The Rochester Grammar School is a heavily oversubscribed six form entry selective girls' school that admits male students into the Sixth Form. In September 1990 the school moved into new buildings and the original 1888 building closed. The school has 1126 pupils, with 280 in the Sixth form. There are 72 full time teachers and 4 part time teachers. They have 35 support staff. In November 2010 the school became an "Academy of Excellence" under the government's academy programme for outstanding school
The school received an outstanding Ofsted report in November 2003, and again in November 2008 they were graded as "outstanding" and were praised for their commitment to the highest standards in teaching and learning. The School aims to create a working environment where our students can think independently and engage enthusiastically with their own learning.

The Rochester Grammar School are looking for a specialist Physics Teacher who can display the following:

Experience of teaching KS3 - KS5 Physics
Qualified Teacher Status
An innovative and creative teaching style
A commitment to the challenge of academic standards
A willingness to form part of a successful and enthusiastic team
A proven track record in successful behaviour and classroom management
