Our client, a well known international systems expert with a global presence urgently seeks a highly experienced, Senior Network & Security Engineer.

It is expected you will have a proven track record of delivery across the following areas

* Operational experience of Cisco technologies including:
* Cisco IOS, Unified Communications Manager, VPN, Routing & Switching
* Cisco CCNA Qualification desirable
* Platform-agnostic Networking acumen
* LAN/WAN design and implementation
* Strong IT Security protocols, IDS, Firewalls, CISSP/CCSP desirable
* Operational experience across ITIL is desirable
* Exposure to certain non-Cisco technologies will be welcomed eg NetQoS, VMware, Citrix, RSA

Your duties will include but not be limited to installations & upgrades, administration, support and documentation of all products relating to Network and Security across company and client facilities.
You will collaborate with platform, applications and database teams to implement and integrate networking and security technologies and solutions as needed. You will create network and security policies, standards and operating practices across the enterprise. Previous experience of working within process/compliance-driven (ITIL) environments will be welcomed. You will research and keep up with new and emerging network and security technologies enabling you to be the SME across these areas.

This permanent career opportunity is based in Zrich, Switzerland and any knowledge of German although not essential, will be welcomed. The role has excellent remuneration of up to 135K CHF plus on call allowance where applicable, bonus and pension paid in Swiss Francs. Immediate interviews are available.
