A major international aerospace engineering consultancy on the test of Integrated Modular Avionic Systems is seeking a Landing Gear Systems Test Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol offering a salary of [contact details removed] depending on skills and experiences.


As a Landing Gear Systems Test Engineer you will:

- Prepare test campaigns: test mean preparation, test procedures, test schedule for Landing Gear system integration tests (extension/retraction system, steering system and monitoring systems).
- Conduct tests on Functional Integration Benches and landing gear systems integrated rig.
- Perform data validation and real time / differed time analysis of test results.
- Provide test report and address any design defects encountered during tests.
- Support the configuration management for the ground test means and the flight test means.
- Prepare flight test means.
- Perform flight test data analysis.


The ideal Landing Gear Systems Test Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:

- Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Testing experience.
- Previous experience in avionic systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to act on own initiative and work in a team.
- Ability to initiate ideas and proposals.
- Ability to develop excellent relationships with customers
