Service Delivery & Test Manager - Gibraltar

As the Service Delivery & Test Manager you will be required to act as the primary interface to the business and all associated key stake holders and ensure strong working relationships are established. The individual should fully understand the business direction, impending changes, and ensure the 'customer' leverages value from the IT Infrastructure services and capabilities. The role is ultimately responsible for driving service improvement within the I.T function. Secondary to the role will be to manage and operate a small UAT function, responsible for end testing and pre-production signoff on all final product releases in line with the service delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
* Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate service level agreements with the business
* Own the service catalogue of IT services and ensure it is up to date and fit for purpose
* Promote and champion the benefits of the ITIL service management framework within the I.T function
* Work alongside the I.T Operations Manager to ensure that SLA's are met and business expectations are exceeded. Also ensure that any SLA breaches are investigated and corrective action is taken to improve service delivery
* Provide performance reports to an agreed schedule
UAT
* Provide and delivery business acceptance testing for project / programmes to the agreed business case specification
* Effective communication across business units, I.T function to support and manage the smooth delivery of testing activities
* Conduct Test reviews at the end of business requirements identifying all necessary responses and actions as a result of any exceptions to the agreed criteria
* Manage a small UAT team and ensure the end to end testing cycle is appropriately maintained

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Good understanding of the ITIL framework and its implementation in particular IT service management
* Good understanding of web-based / ecommerce infrastructures
* Good knowledge in product development methodologies, both waterfall and agile
* Good understanding of mission critical trading applications and technologies
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Proven experience in a similar technology / application operational management role
* Good project management skills
* Degree or Masters in a business or technology discipline, in particular Business Information Management
* ITIL V2 Service Management or similar qualification desirable
* Experience managing a small test team/UAT function
