Marketing Manchester is looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager who has the following attributes:

Must be able to work at a fast pace and keep up to date with the business needs.
Must be able to operate in a stand alone role and demonstrate confidence with exceptional business acumen.
Must be willing to deal with end to end processes from administration through to execution/launch.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To manage and provide a full Human Resources (HR) function for Marketing Manchester, dealing with all Human Resource issues within the organisation, in addition to sourcing legal advice, where appropriate. Providing HR advice and guidance to members of the Senior Management Team and setting the HR strategy, in line with organisational objectives.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1.To implement and develop new HR initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of accurate human resource policies and procedures, in line with organisational strategy.
2.To be the main contact at Marketing Manchester, with regards to external matters, e.g. dealing with solicitors, handling TUPE issues, dealing with termination of contracts etc.
3.To manage all recruitment within Marketing Manchester, as the main point of contact for new positions; selecting and maintaining applications, arranging job advertisements, liaising with appropriate management involved, and attending interviews, as the organisational HR representative when required.
4.To manage the training process, liaising with the senior management team, ensuring that skill gaps are addressed and training is prioritised and booked accordingly.
5.To manage the recruitment & training budget.
6.To carry out grievance and disciplinary procedures where necessary, in conjunction with Management, as outlined within organisational policy.
7.To ensure that all new employees are properly inducted into Marketing Manchester and remain abreast of changes to legislation, policies, etc.
8.To administer, issue and maintain all employee contracts and job descriptions.
9.To create and update Marketing Manchester's HR database, ensuring that all information kept, with regards to employees, remains both confidential and accurate.
10.To create, administer and advise management upon organisational HR procedures such as Appraisals etc.
11.To advise Senior Management and staff with advice on all employment issues, conditions of service, employment law and best professional practice.
12.To monitor and compile employee statistics, providing regular data, e.g. sickness/ employee turnover, to senior management.
13.To oversee Health and Safety issues, ensuring that organisational policy is in line with legal requirements, and is enforced internally.
14.To liaise with external recruitment and training agencies, and arrange temporary staffing as and when required.
15.To promote Equal Opportunities good practice and to implement this in all aspects of working practice.
GENERAL:
1.To undertake duties and responsibilities, of an equivalent nature, as may be required by your line manager, or any member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).
2.To carry out all duties with full regard to Marketing Manchester's Equal Opportunities policy.
