<p>Fixed Wire Testing Electrical Engineer <br />Hampshire <br />GBP30000 overtime company van <br /> <br />Based in Hampshire and established for over 15 years, our client is a specialist in undertaking Electrical Testing across a wide variety of business sectors and environments throughout the UK. With a wealth of knowledge and experience working under difficult and challenging circumstances. Covering all aspects of the electrical testing market with specific focus on Periodic Fixed Wire Testing and Inspections, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Thermal Imaging and Emergency Lighting, our client has enjoyed continued growth by providing its clients with high quality tailored solutions and an excellent service. <br /> <br />Fixed Wire Testing Electrical Engineer - Role: <br /> <br />Our client is now looking for a professional, hard-working and flexible electrician to carry out Periodic Inspection and Testing. The successful individual will be required to service our client's Inspection and Testing requirements across the South of England. <br /> <br />Fixed Wire Testing Electrical Engineer - Specific Responsibilities: <br />- Carry out Periodic Inspection and Testing according to BS7671 <br />- To have effective customer relation skills to deliver high quality service levels to clients <br />- Effective communication with internal senior management <br />- Completing paperwork on BS7671 forms using Amtech software <br />- Management and development of an electrical apprentice <br />- To work on your own or within a team <br />- Day to day management of client's testing requirements <br />- Health and Safety paperwork <br /> <br />Fixed Wire Testing Electrical Engineer - Experience / Skills - Essential <br />- Being a hard worker, motivated, proactive and enthusiastic <br />- A "can-do" attitude to everyday challenges <br />- Disciplined and methodical approach to work <br />- CandG 2391 or equivalent <br />- 17th Edition <br />- Experience in on site Fixed Testing in large commercial and industrial environments <br />- Knowledge of latest BS 7671 guidelines and GN3 <br />- Driving License <br />- Flexible working hours (days, evenings and some weekends) <br /> <br />Special Conditions: <br />Willingness to travel in the UK at short notice and be able to accommodate occasional overnight stays. <br />To apply for the role please forward your CV to [blocked email] </p>
