Purchasing Assistant (Ref. 2618) Neath Port Talbot Salary £19 - £20K
Our clients are a highly successful global manufacturing company well known for their high standards supplying finished components to the top manufacturing companies within their field. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Assistant to take up post as soon as possible
Main Duties
* Management of all consumable (indirect materials, stationary, work-wear) used in plant
* Raise Purchase Orders system and issue to supplier, filing of same
* Manage and arrange all staff travel requirements for the business
* Ensuring departmental quality standards are maintained
* Issue and control of drawings to supplier
Candidate Requirements
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Educated to GCSE standard as minimum
* Familiar with high volume manufacturing environment and principles
* Automotive experience would be an advantage
