Group Legal Counsel - 3-5 PQE - Junior / Mid Level
Financial Authority in the Gulf Region.
Internationally regarded entity - Group Legal Counsel

A Financial Authority have a position within their GCC based practice for a Group legal counsel. The client in question have a regional influence across the GCC region and the position will expose candidates to a variety of high profile transactions.

Legal counsel s are expected to have at between 3-5 years of legal experience from an English, Common Law jurisdiction. (UK, US, AUS, NZ). This experience will either come from a law firm (within their financial department) or a financial service organization.

Candidates are expected to have following skills:
- High Competency in drafting and advising
- Expertise in commercial and contract law
- Negotiating skills
- Strong understanding of financial law within a Comman Jurisdiction

Legal Counsel's are expected to have a level of experience in the region particularly working on litigation, commercial, compliance and contract matters.

A Legal Counsel's professional background will be either with the financial department within an interntional law firm or within the legal department within a global financial entity and/or bank. Current In house legal counsels certainly encouraged to apply for this position.

The salary and the package are both comparative to reflect the client and the jurisdiction.
