Job Description: An opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join one of the leading suppliers of fluid technology, hydraulic & electronic equipment. The Product Manager will become an expert in their product range. The Product Manager will be working closely with the sales engineers to provide the very best in service to all customers throughout the UK & Ireland. The Product Manager may be required to travel around the UK in support of the sales & field engineers.
Key duties/responsibilities:
*Keep up to date with all the latest developments within the product range
*Have good working knowledge of the new product ranges & technical data
*Build relationships with key contacts - German factories
*Training & advising of the UK sales team on the products they will represent
*Advise engineers on appropriate applications
*Understand the market & customers being sold too
*Gain knowledge within the markets competitors
*Pinpoint new potential markets/customers across UK & Ireland
Personal skills and attributes:
*HNC in Mechanical engineering
*Field sales experience
