Job Title: - Quality Engineer

Area : Gloucestershire, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, South West, Bristol,

Salary: 22 to 30k plus benefits and relocation assistance if required.
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Job Description

This role would suit an experience Quality Engineer or a recent Graduate Engineer wanting a career in Quality Engineering.

Act as a focal point for Product / Process Quality Issues
Involvement with Internal Corrective Actions & Dispositions
Support Concessions & Engineering Change Request (ECR's)
Work with Customer's Quality Assurance Representatives
Perform First Article Inspection activities validate suppliers FAIR's & complete Internal Product FAIR's
Perform Internal Quality Audits of the Company's processes to ensure compliance with recognised quality management standards, i.e. AS9100.
Lead & facilitate improvement activities
Represent the Company both on-site & at Customers / Supplier sites when required.
Successfully completed relevant academic qualifications(s) to HNC/D Level or equivalent
Familiarity with electrical and electronic products & manufacturing processes
Willingness to learn & to be a team player
Tenacious and enthusiastic
Business improvement experience (Lean / Six Sigma)
Eligible to drive company vehicles.
