My client a leading manufacturer within the chemical sector is due to business expansion looking to add to its already successful engineering manufacturing production team.
On a day to day basis you will manage multiple process improvements projects, run lean manufacturing projects and identify new areas for improvement whilst providing data analysis.
The position also requires you to look at the launch of new customer products ensuring they are delivered on time and to specification.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring production process control, in conjunction with production, maintenance and quality managers.
The individual also has responsibility for the evaluation of current working practices and the implementation of necessary solutions, to increase productivity and reduce operating costs while maintaining quality and improving customer service.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in chemical or mechanical engineering as a minimum and poses a strong background within process improvements within a high quality product base.
You will also have a strong working knowledge of modern continuous improvement techniques including six sigma, with ideally with a relevant qualification.
