The Role:

HR Officer - Construction Based

Salary and Benefits:

The Client:

Our client is a leading regional construction contractor providing civil engineering and building services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

An opportunity exists for an HR Officer to join a small generalist department.

You will have a good understanding of the range of HR duties extending to include training and development, and
employment legislation in this high quality technical/professional business.

You will have practical and pragmatic implementation skills to ensure sensible commercial application of HR processes,
including facilitation of training and development plans through appraisal and other processes into delivery, and
recruitment across different construction roles.

An appointment can be made to reflect your experience which could be at Officer or Assistant Officer level. You will work
closely with the HR Director whilst having day to day responsibility for the management of the established busy HR team.

This is a full time post in a fast moving dynamic organisation which has earned a good reputation for the quality of its
services from actual project delivery through to good employment relationships with its employees and sub-contractors.

There are prospects for further career development with the business over the coming years.

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for the role you should have a knowledge and understanding of the construction contracting industry.

You will live within commuting distance of Scunthorpe.

Based at the Scunthorpe Head Office the nature of the business and the diverse employees (by occupation and geography)
means that travel on occasions to Company offices, sites and projects will be required.

Well developed IT skills are required to enable effective use of Microsoft office suite of software including
spreadsheets, presentations. Confidence in making presentations and informal training delivery will be advantageous.
