Leading international Oil & Gas Company is looking to hire an In-house Legal Advisor or Senior Legal Advisor to be based in their offices in Aberdeen. Candidates must be fully qualified solicitors, with experience and understanding of the oil & gas market. Candidates from private practice with relevant experience in this sector or in-house backgrounds are invited to apply.
The successful candidate will handle and advise on legal and contractual matters across all areas of the business including:
* Acquisition / divestment deals,
* Joint Operating Agreements,
* Bidding Agreements,
* Transportation Agreements,
* Contractual indemnity provisions,
* Advising on HSE and employment law issues,
* Negotiating sale and purchase agreements, farm-in agreements,
* Managing litigation.
* Responsible for the provision of Legal & Contracts advice/ support.
The ideal candidate will have circa 4+ PQE and have demonstrable experience in a similar role and will possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills plus an ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels. The role will report into the legal director and will be part of a global legal team.
