An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Locum Solicitor to join a Local Authority in the Yorkshire area for a 6 month period.
Day to day duties:
- Handling a busy caseload of Child Protection cases including interim care orders and emergency protection orders under the Public Law Outline
- Advocating in both the County Court and Family Proceedings Court including directions hearings and half day hearings
- Dealing with own advocacy for contested and final hearings
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Childcare Law in a Local Authority. Candidates with extensive public law experience within Private Practice will be considered. It is essential that candidates are either a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
