CNC Toolroom Machinist / Toolmaker - Birmingham
Versatile CNC Toolroom Machinist / Toolmaker required for a successful and well established contract tool room based in Birmingham. Ideally you will be from a toolmaking / small batch work environment (as opposed to large volume manufacturing) as the nature of the work requires multiple machine set ups during the course of a day. The company use a range of CNC and manual machines including lathes, milling machines, machining centres, grinders and wire erosion, so a good all round knowledge of machining techniques and materials is essential.
The company prides itself on producing quality tools and components and has recently invested in a new building and machinery. This is a good opportunity to join a growing company working with customers worldwide.
Basic salary is 11.00 to 13.00 per hour (negotiable and dependent upon experience) for a 37 hour week plus paid overtime.
Monday to Thursday 8.00am till 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am till 1.00pm
