Inkjet Performance Engineer, Cambridgeshire
We are searching for an Inkjet Performance Engineer to develop a detailed understanding of the inkjet process and requirements, and to actively apply this knowledge to the operation, assessment and design of waveforms, printheads and test/evaluation systems.
We are searching for an Engineer with the following background:
Degree educated or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Experience of ink jet printing and printhead operation/optimisation
Ability to convert analysis into robust theories/tools/models that can be practically exploited in the product design
Demonstrable track record of applying analytical techniques to solve real-world engineering problems
Ability to create and manage new knowledge, including patentable IP and know-how
A good understanding of the physical properties of fluids would be advantageous
Strongly motivated to understand why and how things work
Diligent with a keen attention to detail
Ability to investigate and analyse complex systems in a methodical way
Resourceful and proactive in solving problems
Ability to handle open briefs as well as closed
Willingness to take the initiative, be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
The ability to think across several technical disciplines
Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide audience.
