A leading insurer is looking for a commercial insurance lawyer to join their growing legal team. The successful candidate
must have experience of general insurance law and regulations and will be confident in drafting commercial contracts,
insurance policy wordings and advising on all aspects of consumer insurance law and distribution.
The role will involve working on issues relating to day-to-day activities in a broad range of issues from consumer,
commercial and cross business issues as well as drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts, including agency,
appointed representatives, introducer appointed representative, outsourcing, supply, intellectual property, marketing and
distribution agreements. The role will also involve advising on, and negotiating, non-claims disputes
The candidate will be approx 1-3 PQE and will possess a working knowledge of the regulatory framework surrounding the
insurance industry.
