Digital Graphic Web Designer - Pure Design Role!!

About us:

We are a specialist web development and programming agency based near Southampton, Hampshire. We provide a range of web development, design, marketing and programming services to a variety of clients - from small local businesses up to multi-national corporations.

Our typical projects can range from building a simple 10-page content-managed brochure website, to providing a large-scale, integrated online accounting system. We also provide extensive e-commerce services - including the design, build and marketing of online retail sites

The Role:

The Digital Graphic (Web) Designer is responsible for producing stunning, cutting-edge website designs for a wide variety of clients - and for our own internal marketing. This is a pure digital website design role - not a web coding position, although any knowledge of HTML / CSS web coding may be beneficial.

Responsibilities of the Role:

> Design high quality website layouts and concepts for a wide variety of clients
> Assist in production of website wireframes
> Assisting the development of online branding and identity solutions for clients
> Work on projects from concept and sketching to final design and asset creation
> Work within tight brand guidelines and timescales
> Play an active role in client meetings
> Continually strive to exceed client expectations
> Quality control the output of front-end developers to ensure the design integrity of finished coded web pages
> Interpreting clients' requirements and producing website design concepts that meet and exceed their expectations

Knowledge, experience and technical skills:

> Proficient in relevant software packages including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
> Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently
> Good understanding of current Digital Design Trends, HTML 5.0 and Responsive design
> Considerable experience designing websites is essential - preferably within a digital web agency environment
