Enterprise Solutions Consultant Unified Communications

Team Description & Purpose of Role
This role is part of a team with Senior Sales Experts, and Senior Solution Architects, who together combine to assist Enterprise sales in achieving company revenue and margin objectives for the Unified Communications portfolio. The role also has responsibilities towards new product release and training for same portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
This is an important position, which is seen as critical to the results of the enterprise sales organisation. The role involves direct sales as well as support management as listed below for various areas:
* Product Management Unified Communications (support) - being the "eyes and ears" in the market for the product managers who manage P&L responsibility for product line(s) within the Unified Communications portfolio.
* Technical Solutions Unified Communications (management) - Skilled technical resource who operate on a portfolio-specific level to supplement local sales engineering functions in high-end customer engagements.
* To support the solutions team to drive sales, products, engineering and partners to create solutions for (large) corporate customers, governments, wholesalers, and service providers. To work closely with the lead regional sales teams and regional sales engineers, maintaining the "Capability Matrix" and championing training programmes for solutions & sales engineers.
* Bid Management (support) - being the technical and commercial subject matter experts to bid management resource that provide support and coordination for ongoing bids within Enterprise sales; support the maintenance of professional documentation sets such as bid boilerplates and bid books. Leading from the front, the solutions engineer Ucom will prioritise team engagement in Our client's many opportunities, and will marshal solutions team and virtual resource to winning large multi-million Euro bids.
* Pricing (support) - being the "eyes and ears" for the Our client pricing teams, being involved in the pricing and approval of non-standard or large opportunities and cost/margin management across the Unified Communications portfolio.
* Equipment Supplier (Product) Management (support) - being part of a small team of experienced individuals dealing with all aspects of equipment supplier management, varying from quoting from the perspective of ensuring Our client win as much new business as possible at acceptable margin levels to the overall business relationship management dealing with pricing, discounts, financials, training, certification, product knowledge transfer, delivery process and timelines and in life cycle products and services support. This specifically includes dealing specifically with large and/or strategic opportunities whereby the direct support of suppliers will have a material impact on the win chance of the opportunity.
* Sales training (support) - developing and maintaining specific training for new starters and other parts of Enterprise sales with specific focus on the Unified Communications portfolio.
* The role requires active participation in implementing and improving organisation wide processes and systems, and working closely with all other departments in Our client especially Products and Platforms.
