Analytics Manager // Cheshire // c40k + Benefits

Instinct's client is an exciting digital and gaming development business based in Cheshire, in the North West of England. Situated in a leafy suburb in slick modern offices, their existing team design and create some seriously cutting edge games, that are increasing in popularity day by day.

Because of this rapid growth, they are now seeking a, Analytics Manager to be responsible for managing and overseeing the Analytics Team, the data analyst team and analyst developers. The Analytics Team provides key data collection, analysis and ad hoc data preparation for the departmental heads.

Whilst this is primarily a management role, the successful Analytics Manager will still have hands on responsibilities, including analysing patterns and trends within all games. Core Skills & Experience required for this role include:

// Experience of leading and analytics team
// Communication and leadership skills
// Understanding of the software development process
// Experience of working with developers
// Ability to analyse and condense complicated data
// Mentoring of other Analysts
// Able to highlight trends and patterns within data
// Enthusiasm to remain 'hands on' within the role

The Analyst Manager will ideally have experience of retail or online marketing and a strong working knowledge of databases and SQL queries would be a real advantage. Given the environment, it would also be a huge advantage if applicants have a passion for Gaming!!
