High profile practice of M&E Consultants seeks to recruit an HVAC Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer as part of the ongoing development of the Cardiff office. Probably qualified to HNC or degree level, applicants will be computer literate (including Hevacomp, IES & AutoCAD) and have gained a good initial grounding in Mechanical Building Services design with either M&E Consultants or larger D&B Contractors. Working as part of an established professional team, you will be involved in a wide range of activities including: development of initial project brief; full HVAC Services design, both concept & detail; thermal modelling; cost appraisals; surveying & reporting on existing installations; technical review of contractor submissions; site construction monitoring & witnessing of commissioning to ensure compliance with specification & operation in accordance with client requirements. Current projects cover a range of sectors such as light industrial, high-specification residential, commercial, R&D, leisure, infrastructure & healthcare with M&E values from 175k to 7M+. Excellent CPD programme in place for staff at all levels within the business.
