What will the role involve?

* To facilitate pay and correspondence workflow movement between UK and overseas processing team ' Barclays Shared Services' ensuring work items processed within Service Level Agreements .


* To facilitate the rapid resolution of complex queries and processing issues raised in respect of payments processed by Barclays Shared Services (BSS).


* To Investigate, resolve and initiate correspondence in respect of incoming enquiries and complaints from customers, coverage and other banks.


* Responsibility for processing high volumes of correspondence with speed and accuracy within strict deadlines to achieve team and individual targets so providing a high level of Customer Service


* Act as a point of reference in respect of query resolution for Inward/Outward Letters of Credit and Inward/Outward Collections.


* May be responsible for receiving and/or initiating telephone enquiries and complaints from customers


* To maintain own technical and specialist knowledge and to develop that of others through coaching and the identification of training needs.
