THE ROLE

There is currently a superb opportunity for an English qualified solicitor associate (NQ-2 years or equivalent experience) with debt capital markets experience to join the Paris office of one of the leading international practices in this sector.

The firm has offices in all of the major global financial centres and acts for a broad range of clients from arrangers to borrowers including corporates, investment banks and finance houses in France and internationally.

The position:

You would sit within a single broad-based group who are English and French qualified and advise on debt capital markets, structured finance and derivatives with a very high portion of this work having a cross-border, international element.

While you would be able to focus on certain products, the firm sees the value of allowing its lawyers to develop in a broad way.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who believe that their current role lacks adequate exposure to enough variety or for someone who wants to diversify their practice.

The successful candidate will be ambitious, commercially aware and willing to take on responsibility in this closely-knit bilingual team.


ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position you must be proficient in French and ideally have trained at a leading City law firm and have undertaken at least one seat in debt capital markets.

Excellent academics are essential as is the ability to demonstrate initiative and contribute effectively to your team.
