Test Lead/Cheshire

The Role:
LSG are currently going through a period of growth and now looking to recruit a Test Lead. The role of the Test lead is to effectively manage the test team and to define the project scope. They will deploy and manage the appropriate testing frameworks to meet required standards when executing test plans into UAT.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for leading and managing the test team function on and offshore within the company through active leadership as well as governance controls

* Day to day management of the onshore test team including line management duties

* Follow testing standards on all scope of projects, support logs

* Provide support and guidance to test team members to ensure ongoing development and improvement

* Monitor the quality and productivity of each test team member identifying areas for improvements

* Communicate the test strategy to the relevant members of the project teams including test team

* Allocating the test team resource and managed to appropriate capacity

Essential Requirements

* Management and lead capability with on and offshore testing team

* Siebel and Oracle understanding desirable

* Excellent attention to detail

* Good technical and business analysis skills

* Broad understanding of development and test methodologies

* SQL knowledge desirable
