The company is in expansion mode & the demand for their expertise in sustainable design, carbon management, renewable energy & business strategy means recruitment is high on the agenda.

A key hire is to recruit a Sustainability Consultant to be based at their offices near Watford in Hertfordshire. - Excellent links to nearby M25/London.

The Role

The ideal candidate could be a suited a consultant with sustainability experience within a similar role and/or an opportunity for an M&E engineer seeking a career change. There is also flexibility to work across the business.

The Person

You will be a pro-active & enthusiastic consultant who is experienced in offering client focused advice on sustainable design.

A large part of the role will include:
*Managing projects & clients from pre-design through to post construction
*Providing BREEAM advice & support to design & construction teams
*Undertaking BREEAM assessments
*Providing advice & support for meeting LEED requirements, Code for Sustainable Homes, Soft Landings targets & more generic sustainability requirements on a project by project basis
*Providing overarching strategic sustainable design advice to clients
*Involvement in developing marketing material and securing new clients and projects.

All candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication and have previous exp in the construction industry.

Applicable Qualifications & Experience for the role:
* BREEAM AP
* LEED AP
* CSH qualification/experience
*Post Occupancy Evaluation
*Building Services or design experience
