My client is one of the leading manufacturers of high quality aluminium heat exchangers and complex
cooling modules for industrial and automotive applications. They seek a highly experienced Project
Manager / Project Sales Engineer for their UK base near Cardiff.


The successful candidate will develop projects from the initial customer contact through design for manufacture into production.



Responsibilities include:

- Sales / business development across UK to win new customers and business, within a specific target
market; including price and contract negotiations
- Project management of the order processes including design and production to ensure satisfactory
delivery of orders to customers and within the company
- Leadership and development of small team of technical designers, responsible for technical design and economic price calculations
- Key Account Management




You will need to be able to demonstrate:

- Successful business development track record
- Minimum of Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Business and Administration
- Practical experience in similar business development project management
- Excellent communication skills in order to win business by successfully discussing technical and
commercial issues with OEM customers.
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Successful negotiation skills
- Ideally several years' technical / commercial experience in industrial, engineering or automotive
manufacturing
- Willingness to travel - typically 2 or 3 days once a month to mainland Europe, overnight once a fortnight around UK
