Our client is a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, which specialise in providing accounting solutions to a variety of owner managed businesses which include large limited companies with overseas subsidiaries and groups of companies. Due to excellent growth over the past few years, the business is looking to employ a highly motivated, proactive and commercially astute audit professional. It is envisaged that the successful individual will report to one of the firms Audit Directors and assist in the management of a portfolio of mainly owner managed businesses from 20m - 60m turnover, however there are a number of clients that operate between 100m - 200m with overseas groups and subsidiaries. Duties will also involve some accounts preparation work, including preparation of cash flow forecast, consolidation and corporate tax advice, along with the supervision of more junior staff members. The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with post qualified experience working within a national or large independent firm of Accountants. Applications will also be considered for part-qualified Accountants who are looking to gain further experience within an audit capacity. The firm will provide a supportive work environment and encourage the professional development of staff members.
