We are advertising this position on behalf of our client who is seeking an Area Sales Representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Management of assigned accounts within the General and Business Aviation marketplace utilizing the our Sales process to develop relationships and maintain market share in the UK and Ireland.
-Manage assigned sales accounts and maintain the price matrix/contracts for their nominated customers.
-Analyze past quotations and relevant reports to determine possible new sales opportunities
-Analyze opportunities within the GA/BA Marketplace that would facilitate the growth of sales through the marketing of new product lines.
-Identify new opportunities to sell customers from the existing distributed product lines
-Proactively update delivery information to the major accounts
-Pro-actively promote sales promotions via telephone, email, fax or any other communication means.
-Identify reports to be sent periodically to customers to enhance our service.
-Promote specific products to customers
-Manage discrepancies with customers within company guidelines to provide the best solution
-This position includes a lot of travelling in the UK and Ireland and can be done home based or from our Manchester facility
Education and Experience:
-Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or aviation field. However, those with extensive aviation experience but lacking BA degree may also be considered
-6 years experience in sales and customer service in the aerospace/aircraft parts
-Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Proven ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams.
-Possess good presentation skills and ability to influence customers
-Experience in Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint, Siebel, Crystal are a plus.
-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
-Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach cooperative team approaches.
-Ability to conduct and direct research into sales and products.
-Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
