Role: Quotations Engineer/Administration/Technical Sales

You will ideally have work experience within engineering, the capability of reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential for this role.

Ideally you will have a background within one of the following areas:

Ideal experience within the tubing/fluid piping industry but not essential AND/OR Experience within fabrication or component manufacturing.

Job Role:

Interpretation of customers technical drawings, working out the route of production and if it is feasible with the production manager.

Strong customer account management

Experience of ordering and maintaining bills of materials

Strong communication skills to liaise between, customers, internal sales team, technical engineers and production staff.

Experience of issuing quotations to customers with assistance if the Technical Manager and Sales Team, this also includes one of one of prototype to gain order from client or small batch of produced materials for production.

Strong administration experience, maintaining customers order in stock and individually coding the stock parts for the internal database system.

Dealing with customer complaints and queries to resolve any problems quickly and efficiently.

Locations: Birmingham (commutable by public transport)

Salary 20-27k Dependent on experience.

Hours of Work:

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.15pm
Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm
