My client is a leading European system integrator and provider of innovative supply chain, identification and mobility solutions and services. Due to ongoing expansion they seek to recruit another graduate ability new business development/tele-sales/account manager professional to join the existing team. My client will consider candidates without prior relevant commercial experience who demonstrate strong potential.
This role is responsible for generating and nurturing qualified sales opportunities which lead to increased revenue across the product and solution portfolio. By cold calling and repeat calling to key decision makers, you will focus on building and maintaining prospect relationships, gathering and recording relevant intelligence which will ultimately result in sales ready opportunities and new business generation.
You will be required to meet targets in terms of the delivery of outbound calls, decision maker conversations, sales ready leads and quality of information gathered and recorded in SAP CRM.
You will - be of graduate calibre, ideally with previous experience of working within B2B telemarketing, telesales using a CRM/database system. Preferably in the broad IT industry. An excellent telephone manner, great conversational skills and a professional manner. Must have ability to question and listen actively and to hold a credible conversation with contacts at senior and director level. An excellent attitude and a desire to be successful.
A self-motivated, pro-active, resilient and persistent approach.
Strong team player with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels internally and externally. Ideally, an understanding of general IT terminology ie LAN, WAN, hardware, software, server etc.
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
