Scientific Business Development Manager - Cambridge - to 25k

Our client, a UK based pioneer and leader in Terahertz systems and solutions, is seeking a BDM to sell and promote their products to global pharmaceutical companies and universities . Although based in Cambridge you will be expected to travel for approx 25% of your time.

This is an opportunity to join a company that is in the forefront of developing powerful spectroscopic and imaging techniques.

Candidates should have a good physical science degree and a business qualification would be an advantage. You should be passionate about building upon your business development skills as well as having a background of managing foreign agents and be a first rate communicator with experience of presenting to academics as well as business leaders. You will be expected to run system demonstrations to potential customers. Proficiency in a second language would also be advantageous as would experience with an analytical/photonocs equipment supplier. Ideally your career history will include optical spectroscopic or imaging techniques including NIR,Raman and fluorescence.
