Job Title: Project Engineer

Position Description:
White Alerts; Regularly review and confirm TAD priorities for workload tracker.
Quaterback Top 100 Issues; Lead interface for Service (low cost repair, special tools etc) Quaterback Top 100 Issues; Re-manufacture solutions and supplier development AA Road Side assist; Re-manufacture solutions and supplier development Seamless Launch (design process); Develop best practice seamless launch process for deployment across core teams PTQOR (weekly), Quality Circle (weekly), Quarterback Meeting (weekly), VFG / VRT Meeting (weekly), TAD SM - Quality Review (weekly); Represent TAD and cascade best practice into department.
Warranty Targets; Confirm quality targets for central quality and breakdown to commodity level based benchmark competitive levels.

Skills Required:
Self driven, excellent team working skills, and be enthusiastic about project management, motivating partners and colleagues to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Good working knowledge of product issue resolution processes, such as 8D, fault tree analysis, IS/IS NOT, etc and the importance of adhering to plans and commitments.
Detailed knowledge of Transmissions and Drive line systems, especially interface and connectivity requirements, as well as customer expectations and acceptance standards.

Skills Preferred:
Detailed knowledge of Transmissions and systems and the manufacturing techniques involved.
Detailed knowledge of client Quality Processes and Procedures desirable.

Experience Required:
Expert in quality systems and warranty analysis.
Understanding of client processes and procedures.
Operation in a quality function.

Experience Preferred:
Presentation skills.

Education Required:
Qualified to degree level or equivalent, with significant experience, in an engineering discipline.

Education Preferred:
TS16949, QS9000 trained.
