Based just to the East of Birmingham City Centre, this "good" school are seeking to appoint an outstanding University Graduate to the role of Teaching Assistant, supporting their English Department. The role will initially be for 1 year and go through to the end of the school year 2013. The school are however able to support the successful candidate through a GTP for the school year 2014.

Senior management at the school provide excellent leadership and direction to pupils and staff. Staff at the school are extremely supportive and welcoming. The school has developed an ethos of hard work, with all staff and pupils pulling in the same direction to ensure that the high standards and expectations that are set are achieved. You will be required to embrace this ethos, learn from the staff around you, and utilise your own initiative to provide excellent classroom support and aid in the development of those pupils you support.

The role of English Graduate TA will require you to work on both a 1-2-1 basis with pupils and also with groups. There will be a variety of support required, with the successful candidate due to work with both the gifted and talented and also those pupils who require extra support to reach expected levels.
