Found less than 5 miles to the East of Birmingham city centre this large 11-16 secondary school are seeking to appoint an outstanding History Teacher to join them from September. The role is that of a full time History Teacher, who will teach History across KS3 and KS4 and is initially for 1 whole academic year, with the possibility of a permanent post at the end of the contract.

History is a popular subject at the school with a large number of students taking History & Geography for GCSE. You will be passionate about teaching Humanities, able to motivate the pupils in your care and inspire them to achieve greater understanding and knowledge about your subject. Due to the size of the current department the school can be flexible on timetables, so candidates with any Science specialism can be accommodated.

The school is situated in a new building with state of the art facilities and equipment, whilst also benefitting from well sized playing fields. Classrooms are spacious and light, with interactive whiteboards in each room. The school was graded as "good" in its last Ofsted with "good" provision for improvement. Senior management are looking to recruit an outstanding Science Teacher, who can carry on the good work currently being done in the school, and help them as they push towards achieving "outstanding" school status.
