Senior Test Analyst, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
2 month contract to start ASAP.
To £300 per day

Our city centre based client is looking for an experienced Test Analyst, to join a team working on a new contract, ASAP.

The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for:
- Reviewing requirements and design specifications, plan, design, execute and report of tests, using appropriate testing tools and techniques and conforming to agreed standards, to ensure that new and amended systems, together with any interfaces, perform as specified.
- Developing an understanding of the system under test by reviewing requirement and design document
- Acting as a QA function to ensure the item under test is of a fit standard from the testing point of view, and will liaise with and development teams
- Designing test specification and test scripts, demonstrating that the test documentation has traceability back to the requirements in the project documentation
- Identifying suitable opportunities for test automation and implementing or agreeing automation plans and strategy
- Execution of test scripts, record test results against the expected results and retaining for future reference
- Raising test issue reports in accordance with the established mechanisms for the particular test phase, and liaising in investigation into faults and production of fixes
- Performing re-testing after fault fixing
- Generation of regression test packs for future use
- Witness module testing, possibility of attending acceptance testing with suppliers. Assess and approve software subsystem release
- Producing test summary report

To £300 per day
