Catastrophic Injury Personal Injury Solicitor required for Top 50 UK Firm. Role based in Yorkshire, salary to 60k

Due to successful growth, this forward thinking Practice is seeking a claimant Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join the
Firms' newly established high value and complex claims division.

The main responsibilities of the role will be to handle a portfolio of claimant catastrophic injury cases of
predominantly RTA matters involving complex technical issues and quantum in excess of 250,000. Typical work would
include claims for spinal cord injury, brain injury, orthopaedic injury and fatal accident cases. The caseload will vary
dependant upon the complexity of the work but will typically range between 5 and 15.

You will be a senior Solicitor with previous experience in multi track and/or catastrophic injury matters and be keen to
manage a caseload of high value and complex claims. Dealing with clients who have suffered a traumatic and life changing
event means that you will have a high degree of integrity and empathy. Regular client communication and face to face
meetings is encouraged along with the desire to provide first class customer service.

You will have previous experience in attending meetings with experts including medical experts, case managers, care
experts, architects, forensic accountants and counsel. You will be required to draft documents, analyse evidence,
research quantum and draft statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.

A successful track record in optimising settlements and competent litigation is essential along with the ability to work
successfully as part of a team. You will be self motivated with good commercial awareness.

Competitive salary, to 60k + bonus.
