My client , a full serviced regional firm with an office in Sussex are actively seeking an Employment Lawyer to join them on a contract basis for six to twelve months to cover a maternity leave. As the firm are expanding, there is the possibility that this role will become permanent.

The department deals with a variety of employment law related matters, representing corporate organistations in a range of different sectors. Your responsibilities, therefore will be broad and include a large volume of respondent and non contentious work.

In addition to being able to demonstrate experience in contenious and claimant employment work, your responsibilities will also include drafting and advising on compromise agreements, contracts of employment, HR matters, grievances and disciplinary processes and procedures, staff handbooks and advising SME's including CEO's and Senior executives.
