I am looking to recruit a Deputy SHE Manager who will report into Project Manager.
The Project -
You will be working on a North Sea project which is representing a major part of the UK's energy development. I believe this project will contribute to the UK economic and energy future. On this project you will face one of the most challenging environments in the oil and gas industry. For more information and a discussion on the project get in touch!
In this role as Deputy SHE Manager you will be supporting the project to meet standards of the regulatory authorities. You will provide SHE leadership, liaising with all teams to managing SHE requirements, and co-ordinate SHE engineers.
Day to Day -
*Liaising with Operator SHE management to develop SHE policy for project
*Evaluate level risk and take measures
*Monitor philosophies and policy
*Set and manage KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
*Manage SHE resources
*Monitor the SHE performance of project team, vendors and contractors
*SHE notification to management
*Liaising and working with Project director for meetings and presentations.
*Support SHE project objectives
*Support and implement the management system for SHE
*Revise and update the plan (SHE)
*Liaising with HSE and SHE cooperate
*Audit and more
To be considered for this role you must be -
*Degree in relevant discipline (safety, reliability or other)
*Degree in further study
*Experience in petrochemical industry
*Experience in SHE work environment and role
*Experience of Safety, Health and environment legislation. Must be good enough to give advice.
*Experience of SHE audits, reviews, incident investigate ion and emergency response
*Member ship of an official body
Rate - Negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
Length - October 2014 end date
Start date - August, September 2012
