Position: Exports Area Sales Manager - Construction Industry
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Salary: Negotiable Package Depending on Experience

Established for over 35 years, they continue to invest heavily in research and development and as a result continue to expand its product range resulting in expanding sales potential and career development.
They now have a tremendous opportunity for a hardworking, committed individual to sell the company`s specialist coatings and structural protection systems into the Construction Industry globally.
The Role:
The successful candidate will operate from their head offices in Knutsford, Cheshire, but will be expected to spend an extensive amount of time overseas. In return for an excellent remuneration package the successful candidate`s duties will include:
-Promotion of the company`s products & services to government departments, specifying engineers and architects in assigned global markets.
-Increasing sales to existing customers and develop sales of new & existing products in new countries.
-Identifying and managing agents and distributors of their materials.
-Spending time in the territories developing relations with clients and customers.
-Identifying and appointing applicators of their materials.
-Negotiating orders with the company`s applicators and main contractors.
-Establishing and managing payments via documentary credits.
-Preparing proposals, specifications and commercial strategies as may be required to achieve profitable sales to meet targets.
-Identifying new customer needs and opportunities in all areas of business.
-Becoming established as a valuable and indispensable part of the team.
Their Requirements:
-The ideal candidate will have experience in specification selling with a proven track record in sales.
-Key attributes associated with this role include being gregarious with excellent people skills, confident and competitive. Candidates should also be tenacious with excellent presentation skills.
-Experience of export sales would be a distinct advantage.
-Candidates should be excited by the opportunity of joining an ambitious and expanding company, have the drive to succeed and a professional approach towards sales.
