Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer with the potential to grow to a QA site leader.

The key purpose of this role is to establish effective and continuously improve manufacturing process controls for a range of complex and specialist analysers and global systems production operations. Playing a lead QA role in NPI projects, leading FMEA sessions, developing effective CTQ parameters, control plans and SOPS for all new analyser products.

Your principal responsibilities will be to:-

* Support analyser production in development and maintenance of yield metrics
* Investigate sources of yield loss and key process variation to root cause
* Drive/facilitate yield issue 8D investigations and corrective actions to continuously improve the control and effectiveness of manufacturing processes
* Perform regular audits to ensure high levels of compliance to known procedures and good practices
* Support the business units in developing effective manufacturing process controls for new products and product variants, championing the development of world class manufacturing quality systems as part of the NPI team
* Support CFS manager in effective production containment and 8D investigations and corrective actions related to manufacturing-based errors reported by customers or regional offices.

You will ideally be degree qualified, or equivalent, with proven experience in ISO9001 and ISI13485, in a technical quality engineering role, preferably in SME high-tech industrial products companies, preferably with SixSigma Green Belt Certification. You will be customer focused with personal integrity and a high degree of discipline and structure. You will possess clear and structured communication abilities to drive quality control and improvement processes throughout the manufacturing organisation.
