Our client based in Leeds who are a leading environmental service company, are currently looking to appoint a Bid Manager to oversee the end-to-end PQQ/Tender process for the group, improve bid process and manage a small team..
This important role will comprise of the following activities:
- Maintain registrations with appropriate authorities/bodies to ensure receipt of relevant EOIs, PQQs and Tender notifications
- Liaise with the Group's commercial teams to assess each new opportunity
- Complete the required documentation (with input from various departments) and ensure submission within the required timescales
- Maintain an effective archive/filing structure for past submissions
- Monitor and evaluate the success rates and conversions
- Manage the Bid Writer and help develop aned expand the team
The successful candidate will possess a combination of qualities including:
- Highly organised and structured
- Able to manage and work to multiple deadlines
- Excellent written English skills and experience of bid writing
- Commercial awareness
- Highly competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of the construction/industrial sector and Microsoft SharePoint-based systems would be an advantage but not essential.
