My client, an innovative and progressive private training organisation based in the North East of England is looking for a qualified Trainer to deliver and assess renewable energy technology and electrical programmes for both commercial and further education customers.

These could include Technology Types:

*Solar Photovoltaics
*Air Source Heat Pumps
*Wind
*Biomass

In additional you may be required to deliver;

*basic electrical principals levels 1 & 2 within a general construction background
*specialist electrical courses

You will be required to deliver sessions primarily based within the NE of England, however, flexibility to travel outside of the region may be necessary.

Ideally you will be a qualified electrical professional with experience of delivery and assessment of technical training programmes - for example City & Guilds 2391, IEE 17th Edition or Part P of the building regulations.

Ideally the suitable candidate will have experience/qualifications in one or more of the above technologies - however, this is not essential as training could be provided.

Requirements

*Full Clean UK driving licence
*Proven relevant experience as a Trainer / Lecturer supporting adult training and learning
*Excellent presentation and communication skills
*Knowledge of the renewable energy sector advantageous
*Strong IT skills
*Understanding or knowledge of the apprenticeship and/or employability programmes useful
Preferred qualifications;

*Adult Teaching qualification
*IEE 17th Edition or similar
*Building Regulations - Part P
*Inspection and test - C&G 2391
*Solar PV Domestic Installation advantageous but not essential
*A1 Assessor qualification
*V1 qualification advantageous but not essential

You will have a passion towards adult training and learning, committed to achieving high quality standards in respect of your own performance and in the support offered to your learners.

Salary will be negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications plus benefits package
